To ensure a safe, fair, and enjoyable experience for all guests, we operate the following queue policy:
1. Queue Location
· All guests must queue alongside the pub, as directed by signage and staff.
· Please do not block entrances, exits, pathways, or neighbouring businesses.
2. Door Staff & Monitoring
· Our door staff will be on duty throughout queuing and entry to monitor safety, manage capacity, and assist guests.
· Door staff instructions must be followed at all times.
· We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone not complying with staff directions.
3. Admission & Entry
· Entry is granted by ticket only and subject to capacity.
· Please have your tickets/booking confirmation ready when approaching the door.
· Late arrivals may be admitted at a suitable break in the performance.
4. Behaviour & Conduct
· Please be respectful to staff, performers, pub customers, neighbours, and fellow guests.
· Excessive intoxication, disorderly behaviour, or anti-social conduct may result in refusal of entry without refund.
5. Weather & Personal Belongings
· The queue is outdoors alongside the pub; please dress appropriately for the weather.
· We cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings while queuing.
Doors open one hour before showtime. For example, if the show starts at 7.30pm, doors open at 6.30pm.
Yes. All shows are 18+.
Tickets are emailed after purchase. Show your phone at the door and we scan you in.
No. The venue serves it's own alcohol and soft drinks. Outside drinks are not allowed.
Tickets are available online. Check our Comedy Club (https://www.problematicpub.com/comedy-club-events)page. We do not accept 3rd-party tickets. (If a ticket looks suspicious, we reserve the right to cancel it.)
General admission covers all group sizes. Larger groups might need to book across multiple orders. Seating is first-come, first-served, and we will seat you together where possible.
Typical shows run around 90–120 minutes, depending on the headliners and event format.
No set dress code. Avoid clothing with offensive slogans or graphics. Do not bring large bags or luggage. Staff may refuse entry if needed.
You can take photos in the bar or common areas before or after the show. Recording or photographing during the show is not allowed unless you have written permission from the club and the performer.
All bookings are non-refundable. Tickets are non-resalable. Tickets for our shows are transferable. Transfers are available by messaging us on social media or via our website.
Transfers must be requested at least 24 hours before the show starts.
Tickets for all other events are NOT transferable and NOT refundable once purchased.
Yes. There are public and paid parking options close to the venue. Check local signage when you arrive. You can also find suggested parking spots on our Venue Info page.(https://www.problematicpub.com/problematic-pub-comedy-club)
Yes — if you lose something during your visit, get in touch with us via our contact email or phone (see contact us page)(https://www.problematicpub.com/contact-us). We keep lost items for up to 30 days before disposal or donation.

Lineups can change due to illness or scheduling issues. We will update you if this happens.
Yes. We take card, contactless, and cash.
Most shows sell out online. Door tickets are not guaranteed.
Yes. We sell selected merchandise at shows. Full ranges are on our website here.(https://www.problematicpub.com/merch-store)
Drinks are served at the bar before the show, during breaks, and after the show. The bar is closed while the show is running.
Yes. Lineups are shown on each event page. If a comedian isn’t confirmed yet, the listing will show TBC.
Seating is general admission. You will be seated when the comedy club room opens.
