Cracked and Black Sheep are work-in-progress shows written by Kris Davies and Steffan Evans. The two comedians are combining their efforts to maximise the laughs and develop their shows further, and they need an audience to help them do it. So come along and watch them work things out and attempt to create their perfect show. Aptly hosted by Col Howarth.

Kris Davies
Full of energy and drive, he delivers comedy with a grungy edge and the occasional burst of music.
His material draws heavily from real life: two decades spent as a youth worker, becoming a grandfather at 41, raising neurodiverse children, years of music-festival misadventures, and the chaos of his own younger days. Alongside his stand-up, he mixes in original songs and short musical sketches. He has opened for Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Stephen Bailey, Nish Kumar, Harriet Kemsley and Bobby Mair, and has performed at venues across the UK — including the Cardiff and Birmingham Glee Clubs, Sandy Park Stadium in Exeter, Belly Laughs, London’s Backyard Comedy, The Stand-Up Club, and The Bill Murray.
As a Welsh-language learner, he first took to the stage in Welsh at Pontardawe Arts Centre in 2021, and appeared at the National Eisteddfod after just a year of learning. He returned to the Eisteddfod in 2023, supporting Kiri Pritchard-McLean. His work has also featured on BBC Sesh, regional radio, and the Tales from Wales podcast. He is the founder of Laugh Easy Comedy, hosting and organising both new-material nights and professional shows across the country.
