Annette Fagon is a stand-up comedian originally from Leicester, England, bringing loud, engaging observational humour to the UK comedy circuit. 


Growing up in the Midlands during the 1980s as the daughter of a Jamaican newsagent mother has deeply influenced her comedic voice. 


After spending years in child drama classes and theatre, Annette plied a variety of jobs—disability support worker, theatre house manager, club waitress—before turning to stand-up comedy. 


She rose through the circuit quickly: nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2006 BECA Awards and was runner-up in the Midlands Stand-Up competition in 2007. backyardcomedyclub.co.uk Her comedy touches on everyday topics—from mobile phone habits to hoodies, from pop culture to her own upbringing—with a strong, clear voice and plenty of energy. 


Her professional credits also include television and radio appearances: she is listed on the British Comedy Guide with credits such as Live at the Hackney Empire (2010) and guest spots on BBC radio channels.
