Hatty Preston is a London-born comedian whose career has taken her across the Atlantic — first to Chicago, and now between the US and UK — in a trajectory that remains mildly baffling to both herself and her family. Her comedy combines sharp stand-up with a confident, charismatic stage presence that has made her a regular on major club circuits on both sides of the ocean. After starting on the London comedy scene, Hatty won Court Jester Comedy’s Breakin’ Thru stand-up competition in 2018, marking her as a rising talent. Since relocating to Chicago, she has become a fixture at the city’s leading comedy venues while also touring extensively across the US. In the past year alone, she has performed at festivals in Cleveland, Iowa City, Milwaukee, and Raleigh, as well as appearing at major venues in Los Angeles, Nashville, and North Carolina. She has supported high-profile acts including Theo Von, Chris DiStefano, Jessica Kirson, and Jack Whitehall. Hatty’s festival credentials include headlining the 3rd Annual International Lady Laughs Festival in Madison, Wisconsin, where her set was filmed for the upcoming Glowstix Studios feature I Heart Funny Women.
