Red Richardson

Red Richardson is a critically acclaimed stand-up comedian, writer, actor and podcaster and is now recognised as one of the most exciting new comics in the UK. He has twice appeared on The Stand Up Sketch Show on ITV2, is a regular joke writer for ‘8 out of Ten Cats’, ‘8 out of Ten Cats does Countdown’ and ‘Live at The Comedy Store’ on Comedy Central, and has written for Mock The Week. Red’s 2018 Edinburgh debut, “Seeing Red”, garnered four-star reviews from critics and played to packed houses at The Gilded Balloon. Since then he has co created and co hosted the global smash hit comedy podcast ‘Laughable’ which has charted around the world, trending on apple for 7 weeks, hitting number 10 in the UK I Tunes comedy charts, number 22 in all categories and has been featured as The Guardian’s entertainment ‘pick of the week’ and The Guardians ‘Top 50 comedy podcasts, Pod bibles podcast of the week, as well as Acast’s podcasts of the week, I tunes New and Noteworthy and Apple podcast’s specially curated ‘Shows we love’. A live performance of this podcast has sold out the big room at The Pleasance Theatre, and it continues to grow as one of the UK’s top comedy podcasts, despite only launching at the end of January 2021. Red has recently found a huge new audience on social media with his viral sensation ‘Stay Toxic’ videos.
